Despite the challenges the year 2020 brought, I had the opportunity to join a friend (now partner) on a trip to Kentucky to photograph her and her companions’ various cosplays and designs. It was a lot of health planning and prepping, social distancing, and shouting through my face mask over the roar of a waterfall. Through all this, I managed to communicate with hand signals and got some amazing photos I’m very proud of!
